New Back to the ‘Gravity’ Shirts Decided! June 30, 2010 at 11:25 am

Recently on our Facebook we had a poll for what location of the design on the back of the Gravity shirts we should use. There were two options. Bottom right (like the Jump. Defy. Trick. v2 Shirts) or on the top middle (like the Traceur-Arrows Design). It was actually pretty close, but in the end the second option pulled in front. Here is the new back to the ‘Gravity is Overrated‘ shirts. It will be implemented within the next few weeks, when we get more in stock.

Over the next few weeks we will be rolling out a few more additions to our clothing lines. Equally spread among the Tricking and Parkour categories. The success of our “Jump. Defy. Trick. v2.0″ shirts has lead us into our next batch of shirts. As you might have guessed from the title of this post, the “Traceur Arrows” design will be released next. Expect it to go on pre-order in about a week. I hope you guys are as excited as we are!

Other updates:

  • The March 2010 STLpk Jam was a huge success, gave away some free stuff, and everyone had a great time. Expect a video to pop up on our YouTube channel for it.
  • There are also plans in the works for some changes to the “Gravity is Overrated” shirts. Keep your eyes open.
  • Most the shirts have dropped down to under $15.00! It doesn’t really count as a sale since it expected to be permanent for most shirts!
  • Our photo album on Facebook has been updated a few times recently. Check it out and become a fan while you’re at it!
  • Our Place in The Clothing Industry January 26, 2010 at 8:32 pm

When this website was first getting started, I received a lot of skepticism and negative feedback coming from a lot of people I showed it to. The shirt designs were ‘okay’ but the web design was unstable, and way too green. We have come a long way since then, and you may be tempted to look at us as ‘just another Parkour Clothing Brand’. If you’re an owner of one of the other clothing brands, you may look at us with disgust. Pointing out all of our flaws and tiny mistakes on anything.

We are not here to take over the industry. Our mission is to inspire, entertain, and educate Traceurs around the world any way we can. This may include DVDs, stickers, posters, and pants. I shop around on the internet for Parkour/Tricking clothing and I find the same basic stores. Copy-Paste stores that were set up by some other company, and the shirts aren’t shipped by the owner of the site, someone else does it for them. That’s not a company, guys, that’s what I like to call a CafePress store. People with no ambition that just want to make a couple extra bucks along side their current job make those sites. I’m not trashing any other site like American Parkour, or Take Flight Apparel. I really respect those guys. They are companies who are actually aiming to make a difference in the Parkour Community. With their well thought our blog posts and innovative, and creative shirt designs. I am especially going to point out Take Flight Apparel’s newest white & orange shirt. That is one creative looking shirt. It’s something you wouldn’t normally see when you think about Parkour clothing.

We want to be the clothing company that tries something different than everyone else. We never plan to take the cheap way out. Our main goal here is quality, not how much money we make. The only reason our shirts can be up to $20.00 is because it costs a lot of money to buy and print on your own material. These are the very best shirts we could find, and we plan to do that for anything we sell.

In conclusion, our place in the Parkour/Tricking community isn’t as just another store. It’s about giving everyone another option. Something way different than what you’re used to. Our shirts are not mass produced. Each one is taken care of and looked at individually, to achieve a level of quality not previously matched.

This was just an introduction to our mission as a clothing company. I hope this has given you a little bit more insight into what we are, and plan to be as a business.
